Comprehensive Rabbit Management Course

Introduction

This two day course covers traditional methods of rabbit management combined with modern equipment and technology to give practitioners a range of options for effective and efficient rabbit management. These include ferreting, shooting, (rimfire rifle shotgun or air rifle), spring traps, body-grip traps, cage traps, snares, drop traps, long-nets and drop-nets, rabbit fencing etc.

The course is suitable for beginners seeking a good grounding in all aspects of rabbit management, through to experienced practitioners seeking an update on new products and alternative techniques, and wishing to expand his/her current knowledge and expertise.  It covers the complete spectrum of rabbit management with technical, theoretical and practical techniques; and health and safety.

The course will involve both classroom and field work; suitable outdoor clothing will be required.

Attendees will receive a National Ferret School Certificate of Competence.

Cancellations can only be accepted on receipt of written instruction and are effective from the date received by the School.  Charges will be applied as below:

More than 30 working days prior to course - 50% of course fee.

30 or fewer working days prior to course - 100% of course fee.
